The room was lit up by torches. The cane's tip bashed the floor once. There stood a green hedgehog. BigDog T only gave a smirk. Beside him was his one and only true assistant, Misty. Ahead of him were lines of his goons, standng there looking at their guest. No one paticulary paid BigDog T a visit, but when they did it was usually for money. He was one of the richest gangsters in this city. BigDog T reached up, and tipped his hat forward.
"So what brings you in this part of the city? My part of the city." he asked.
Infront of him several feet away from him stood an echinda. Not young, not nessicarily old either. Not like the youngster on that floating island. This one was white. Black lined eyes. Covered in one black cloak.
"To request some help." the echinda replied steadily.
"Whats your name?" The green hedgehog asked.
"Dr. Frinitive." he replied.
Misty tapped BigDog T on the shoulder.
"What is it babe?" he asked, looking back at her.
"I've heard of him before. Remember the rumor?" she asked, her tail swishing over the wood floor steadly.
"I remember sweetie." BigDog T said, then turned his attention back on Dr.Frinitive. His golden eyes narrowed.
"You are the one who unleashed Enerjak and yet failed. How can I be sure you won't fail me?" BigDog T asked. The white echinda jerked back in frustration.
"Because I came up with a better plan not to." Dr. Frinitive said. BigDog T gave a short laugh.
"What would you give to me?" he asked. His services never came cheap.
"My loyality." Frinitive said. BigDog T clapped his hands.
"Then welcome aboard, Dr. Frinitive, to BigDog T's Club. However...." the green hedgehog lowered his voice, pausing if need to be go on. Misty let her tail lay flat on the wooden floor.
"About three weeks ago. My... members were chasing down the... enemy who stole from me." BigDog T said.
Three weeks ago
"BigDog T!" came a voice of the white tiger, Krim, came running through to the halls into his boss's "thrown" room. fOf course, Misty was there too. Guess you could say they were flirting. She rarely left his side. The green hedgehog looked down, quite comfortable in the big chair.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Your presious gems have been stolen!" Krim said, gasping for air. AT once, BigDog T was on his feet.
"By WHO?!" he roared.
"Who do you think? That experiment of a dragon." Krim said.
"The loner?" Misty said who was also sitting in the chair BigDog T was sitting in.
"That exact one." Krim said. BigDog T clutched his fists.
"Thats the last time that dragon will steal from me again. Go! i want a set of dragon wings mounted on my wall. It'll go nice with this room." BigDog T said. Krim nodded, and was gone.
Wings beated in the cold air, a leather bag hanging from his waist. Blood trailed in the air, splashing the ground. Highlight looked back. Its been hours since he was being hunted down. They kept up with him easily because they netted his wings. The loner looked at his wings, a net wrapped around one, the other was wrapped but had some of the netting was tsill on it. He was tireing now. He beated his wings before he heard a gun shot and hit his side making his cring in pain. Highlight could here their voices. The red dragon beated his wings, the rhythm was sloppy, he was loosing to much blood. Another gun banged, and his wing got hit making him fall and stumble. He crashed into something hard and then looked up, blood matting the fur on his head. There stood an odd stone structure. More in an oval form, cracked open at the top. He stood up, nearly falling once more, but looked at the scripts. His green eyes narrowed. This place was evil.
"There he is!" the lead dog howled and Highlight looked back. He was surrounded. His tail moved angrly and his claws dug in the ground.
"You stole our bosses gems. Give them back, and we'll spare your life... we just need your wings." the lead dog growled. Highlight looked at the leather bag at his waist without moving his head.
"Sorry, but that offer isn't my style." Highlight growled, and threw a ball, coverng his eyes and flew off. A bright light flashed before he flew off.
"Where'd he go?!" one of the member yowled.
"I dunno, but look at this." another said. They stared at the ancient portal.
"We should report this to BigDog T." the lead dog growled, and they ran off.
"You can take who ever, and take a look at this portal. I know what behind it, similar to hell. I've read that in books." BigDog T said. Dr. Frinitive nodded.
"Sounds.... interesting. I shall. And no worres. I have my own little group." Frinitive laughed and disappeared into the darkness.
