Appearanc: At 2'8', Aero is a pretty adverage size for a mobian female. She's not bad looking, as you could probably judge from the picture (which, by the way, I didn't make). Her golden fur is an almost angoraish soft, and her bright blue eyes are always shinning in such a caring light...despite all that she's went through.
But the amazing thing is she looks completely human -- er...mobian. When in fact, she isn't. If you look closely, very closely, you'll notice the hue changes in her right eye are much more choppy than her natural left, and it's got an almost metalic gleam when the sun hits it just the right way, despite it's film. That's because it's mechanic, as is alot of the left side of her body. You could consider her a cyborg that's mostly organic, but it's bionic engineering. Her left arm isn't her real one, though she has complete control over it. From that hand, 3 long blades can extend from her knuckles (kinda like what you see in Xmen) along with a few other secret little weapons. And of coarse, there are other parts of her body that have been replaced by the artificial substitutes. You'd have to know her history to understand.
personality: Aero's personality is sometimes difficult to understand. There are so many secret chambers in her mind, memories and fears, that clash with who she once was. Secrets that she wouldn't dare reviel to anyone, and that's why she can be somewhat confusing in tough situations. But people describe her as caring, brave and understanding, possibly a little too much. It's possible for her heart to get in the way of common sense, and it has before. She sees the "good" in people that others just don't see, and, once upon a time, she'd bet the farm on the goodwill of others, giving them a chance to shine. Once upon a time...
But that was then. Back in her stupid days. Now this girl hides behind the cheery smiles that, at one time had had meaning - while deep down inside the war rages on. Time couldn't heal your wounds if they were continuously reopening. Mercy couldn't wash away the guilt if you wouldn't let it go. Aero didn't know if she could. It haunted her. Every night it came back, that moment when her whole world had shattered. But no one knew. She just couldn't....couldn't afford to open up again.
History: Not much is known about Aero's past, who she once was, or even her real name. Sure, it's on file at GUN headquarters, but it isn't a public document. All that IS known, is that one night at approximently 3 A.M, an ambulance pulled into the Biology and medical sector of HQ carrying a once beautiful hedgecat who they thought just couldn't be saved. There was nothing the hospitals could've possibly done -- she was too injured. So why did they end up taking her to GUN?
It was a known fact that the NSBM or, the National Scientists of Biology and Medicine (...alright, that's kinda corny but work with me.) Had been looking for a test subject to try out an experimental surgical operation to see if it was possible for the body to accept such a large amount of artificial replacement and be able to not only function like normal, but even have heightened abilities such as speed, strength, dexterity, etc.
Of coarse, it's not hard to imagine how many people signed up for that. No one in their right mind would litterally trade an arm and a leg for something that might or might not work. And the scientists were just about ready to call it quits when they got an emergency phone call from one of the larger hospitals of the city about a girl who'd just been saved from the wreckage of a house boat in the harbor that had been cremated by a massive gas exploson. And that this girl's chances for survival was one in a million, and her only fraction of a hope for survival was the bionic substitute surgery.
So of coarse the scientists accepted! And it was as though there was a devine power guiding their hands through those long hours of the night, through all the close calls and mistakes. And at the break of dawn, the operation was completed. And more importantly -- successful. It was a pretty big deal in the science department, it was a breakthrough. And of coarse they called it that. It was for science! And er...for the sake of saving an innosent life too of coarse. Well...almost innosent.
As Aero recovered, the police returned with charges of burglery, breaking and intering, distruction of property, and other things. That wasn't Aero's houseboat, and it hadn't just "coincidentally" exploded while she the only one on it, and illegally. Well... she was the only one that they KNEW of that was aboard...she was the only one they could find that night.
The court ruled in favor of the prosecuters. "There was an unexpected gas-leak that she didn't know of, and in that lack of knowledge, she attepted to shoot the house-boat owner's dog and the gun fire lit the gas." It was sort of a corny story, but Aero wasn't putting up much of a defence, being in the emotional wreck that she was. Oh, and the fact that she wouldn't speak. To the jury, (and to everybody else) she just seemed like she had a guilty conscience and in the end, she plead guilty to perhaps lower her sentence.
But to make a long story short, the GUN General proposed an alternative. Aero could either go to jail, or work for the GUN military among the people who'd saved her life. And with the testamony of a few people who'd gotten to know her over the recovery process, the jury granted the alternative and Aero's been with GUN ever since. The end!
Additional She works for GUN, for you peeps who don't feel like reading the long and boring version. XP
